JFE Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge TI-45 is used to accurately measure wall thickness of metals, ceramics, glass, plastics. Applicable for your use to measure wall thickness of tanks, piping, hull plates or product inspections.

Compact and lightweight design.
Resolution of 0.01mm, switchable units of mm or inches.
Built in calibration test plate.
Comes with wrist strap, probe, bottle of coupling fluid, battery and lastly an instruction manual in a hard plastic carrying case.

Ultrasonic thickness gauge operate by emitting an ultrasonic pulse from a transducer into the material. Afterwards by measuring the time it takes for the sound wave to travel through the material and return, the thickness of the material can be calculated based on the speed of sound in the material. You can find them in industries such as manufacturing, construction, and maintenance to inspect the integrity of materials. Because they are non-destructive(don’t damage the material being measured), it makes them ideal for inspecting things like pipelines, tanks, or any structure where thickness measurements are critical to ensuring safety and performance.
