Mitutoyo SJ210 Surftest. Compact all-in-one surface roughness tester that performs brilliantly in many situations such as the quality control room, factory floor and production line. The industry standard for roughness testing.

Able to both calculate results and show surface roughness waveforms.
The SJ-210 complies with the following standards: JIS (JIS-B0601-2001, JIS-B0601-1994, JIS B0601-1982), VDA, ISO-1997, and ANSI.
Easy to operate and meets a variety of needs with color LCD providing excellent readability and an intuitive display. The LCD also includes a backlight for improved visibility in dark environments.
Portable, able to move around workplace to measure different surfaces. Can also be mounted on a Mitutoyo height gauge with an adapter purchased separately.
Comes with 1 roughness specimen to perform easy check and proving of the gauge for regular use.
Standard drive unit comes with 2 choice of detector. Either standard force 4mN (178-561-12E) or low force 0.75mN(178-561-11E).
Easy to replace the detector tip if worn off, model 178-390(for 4mN) or 178-296(for 0.75mN).
Retractable and Transverse type units are also available on special request.
